This weekend is going to be a happy weekend and a sad one. Happy because we’ll be in Cheltenham for the Ukulele Festival of Great Britain. It’ll be sad because, as many of you will know, after 8 years this is going to be the last Ukulele Festival of Great Britain. It’s a shame as it is the festival that has shown the ukulele can appeal to large numbers of people all in the same place at the same time.
As it’s the festival that always sells out within days of tickets going on sale I imagine you already know if you’re going or not. If you are then come and say hello to us on our stall. We might even give you a free badge, or a sticker or something else. We don’t have anything else.
We will have a number of Bambookuleles for you to try and buy so we look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
We came to the festival excited to play and join other ukulele players. The first night has been a terrible dissapoitment and we had left by 9 o clock. We came all the way from looe in Cornwall.
We have now gone back to hotel room to look at work shop schedule to find they clash! Is there any way we can change work shop please?
Sorry, we’re just going to the festival, not organising it.
I say going loosely. We haven’t actually set off yet.
