So we managed to make it as far as June without anything terrible happening.
We’ve managed to get a fair bit of the new songbook done now but there are still some undiscovered classics in there that we have yet to tease out.
We’ve been working towards trying to do something for the Moseley Festival at the beginning of July. To try and add a more professional edge we’re starting to have some extra rehearsals outside of the meetings at Kavanagh’s. Last week we got together at Highbury Studio and had a concerted effort at some of the songs that we think really work. If you want to come along to these extra meetings then you are more than welcome. We’ve been arranging these through the Facebook group. I’ve been asking who is about on the 9th July and just contacting those that have replied rather than the whole group. Please get in contact either through this site or Facebook.
We’ve also had some success at recording stuff which you can listen to for your own aural pleasure.
