This is the home of Moselele. We’re a ukulele group in Moseley in Birmingham. If you want you can come and play with us, you can find out when we meet on the about page. We have put all of the songs that we know into one great big database which you can search by song name, the band that made the song and the book that we’ve put it in. You can find links to the PDF for each song there. We also have vast collections of songbooks that you can download and share.

You can also find us on Facebook and Twitter. We’re always pleased to hear from people that play our ukes or use our songbooks. We’re most pleased to hear from people that are planning on coming along to play with us. So, get in touch.

Last chance for June

Sorry for not putting this up sooner. We have got our regular meeting tomorrow. Hopefully the pathetically short notice won't prevent you turning up. We'll be upstairs at Kavangh's from 8pm so please come and join us. What else can I tell you? oh, yes, we can confirm...

Terry and JUNE

So we managed to make it as far as June without anything terrible happening. We've managed to get a fair bit of the new songbook done now but there are still some undiscovered classics in there that we have yet to tease out. We've been working towards trying to do...

More May Mayhem

I probably should have added this a few days ago but the meeting on Thursday will be going ahead as normal. We have a few songs that we haven't got round to doing yet, all of which can be found in the songbook. We've also got a vibrant Facebook group, if you join...

May the Fifth Be With You

On May the Fifth, this coming Thursday we will be celebrating absolutely nothing of note. We will be gathering to play Ukuleles, upstairs at Patrick Kavangh's. We will get there about 8:00pm so you should come and join us. I thought this might be a good time to also...

Have yourself a very merry Easter

I need to say a big thanks to everyone who turned up to our 1st Birthday. It was a great night and a great to see many of the people we've met over the last year. It was also a good attempt at the new song book. Some songs worked better than others but by this time...

We are one

Our meeting on the 7th April will be the first one of Moselele's second year.   I'd like to thank everyone that's made Moselele such a success over the last year. I know we've all met loads of people and learned to sing songs that none of us would have chosen....

More March

It's our very last March meeting on Thursday. As a special treat we will be largely ignoring Comic Relief and doing our best to pretend that St Patrick's Day isn't happening. The latter might be quite tricky as we meet in Patrick Kavanagh's where they take it quite...

Beware the Ides of March

I quite literally have no idea what the Ides of March are or why we should be wary of them. I do know that the Ides of March was the name of the first track on Iron Maiden's classic album Killers. This is in no way relevant because it isn't in our Songbook and would...
